Dhofar, also spelled Dhufar, Arabic Ẓufār, Dhofar is the southern province of oman known for its historical ruins and incense trade .it is the world leading source of frankincense. It Is considered one of the most beautiful Provinces in Arabia, particularly in its southwestern part, because of its monsoon (Khareef) climate, temperate vegetation and bird life. It is considered Oman’s most fertile area. Al-Qarāʾ Mountains is located About 10 miles (16 km) which rises to the heights between 3,000 and 4,000 feet (900 and 1,200 metres).
