Día a día

  1. Día 1

Thumrait, Al Hashman and the desert camp

First, stop for a short break in the town of Thumrait, known for its Bedouin settlement.

Watch the sunset behind the dunes before you reach the campsite, where you can also ride a camel.

At the camp, enjoy traditional dates and Arabic coffee, then a barbecue dinner and shisha (the Arabic water pipe). Spend the night at the camp.

  2. Día 2

Ubar the Lost City and Wadi Dawka

After breakfast at the camp, continue to Ubar the Lost City, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This legendary ancient kingdom is thought to have stood in one of the most inhospitable places on earth, the forbidding Rub Al Khali, also known as the Empty Quarter.

Legend says the desert swallowed Ubar without a trace, like an Atlantis buried in the sand.
