This policy says what personal data this site collects, why, who sees it and what you can ask of us. The site is run by Vacation Packages Oman ("we" or "us"), which decides how the data in this policy is used. What we collect
- Your booking: your name, email address and phone number, the trip, the date and the number of travellers, and what you choose at checkout.
- Your travellers' details, when a trip needs them: for example names, dates of birth, passport details, dietary needs or a hotel for pickup.
- Messages: what you write to us, and our notes on your booking.
- How the site is used, only if you agree to analytics cookies: see our cookie policy.
Why we use it
- To make and manage your booking and run your trip, because you asked us to (our contract with you).
- To send you emails about your booking, such as its confirmation and changes.
- To answer your questions, and to settle a complaint or a dispute.
- To keep the site safe and stop fraud and misuse (our legitimate interest).
- To keep the records the law requires.
We don't sell your personal data, and we don't send you marketing unless you have agreed to it.
Who sees it
- Our team and the guides and drivers who run your trip.
- Tour Pingo, which provides the booking service behind this site and keeps bookings for us, only to do that work.
- Other companies that run parts of the service for us, such as hosting and email delivery, only to do that work.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
Some of them may be in other countries than yours. Where the law requires it, we put safeguards in place for those transfers.
How long we keep it
We keep your data as long as we need it for your booking and its follow-up, then as long as the law requires us to keep records, and then we delete it or make it anonymous.
What you can ask of us
Depending on where you live, you can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to stop or limit using it, or to send it to you in a form you can reuse. You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live. To ask, write to us from the contact page; we answer within the time the law sets.
