Resumen
Muscat is the capital city of Oman and the seat of government. It lies in the north-east of the country, on the Arabian Sea, near the Strait of Hormuz.
Al Sharqiyah borders it to the east, Al Batinah to the west and Ad Dakhliyah to the south.
This half-day tour takes you with a guide to the Grand Mosque, Muttrah Souk, the old town and Al Zubair Museum.

You are picked up between 08:00 and 08:30.
Start at the Grand Mosque, the Mosque of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said. Look inside as your guide points out its highlights, its history and some facts about Islam.
Head on to Muttrah Souk, known to locals as Al Dhalam Souk, one of the oldest souks in the Arab world.
Browse the merchants' goods: fish, frankincense, perfume oil, garments, daggers, gold, silver, spices and Omani pots.
Drive to the old town, passing Sultan Al Alam Palace, the palace of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos, and the twin forts of Mirani and Jalali.
Your last stop is Al Zubair Museum (entry optional), with a wealth of information on Oman's culture, history and heritage.
