   Día 1

   Muscat to Khasab by flight, city tour

   Fly from Muscat to Khasab. At Khasab Airport you are met and transferred to Atana Khasab Resort.

   In the afternoon, set off on a city tour of Khasab, starting at Khasab Fort, built by the Portuguese in the 16th century.

   The fort is now a museum, with a lot of information and a display of traditional Omani items.

   After the museum, drive on to Wadi Tawi to see its prehistoric rock carvings.

   Overnight at Atana Khasab Resort.

2. 2
   Día 2

   Full-day dhow cruise with lunch

   After breakfast, transfer to Khasab Port for a full-day dhow cruise to the fjords of Musandam.

   Explore small fishing villages and Telegraphic Island, with a chance to see dolphins.

   Lunch is served on board, and swimming and snorkelling are possible on this cruise.

   Cruise back to Khasab and return to the hotel.

   Overnight at Atana Khasab Resort.

3. 3
   Día 3

   Full-day 4WD safari to Jebel Harim

   After breakfast, set off on a full-day mountain safari in a 4WD to Jebel Harim, the highest mountain in Musandam (2087 m). On the way, stop at Sayh village, 1100 m above sea level.

   Enjoy the dramatic scenery of the Musandam mountains, speckled with fossils several million years old.

   Drive on towards Wadi Rowdah to see the pre-Islamic graveyard. A picnic lunch is served on the way.

   Continue towards Khawr Al Najid to see the coastline, with turquoise water lapping the shores.

   Visit Birkhat Khalidiya Park, whose acacia trees stay green all year.

   Overnight at Atana Khasab Resort, Khasab.

   Khasab to Muscat by flight

   Fly from Khasab back to Muscat.
